iPad Minis and 7 Tablets Get New Carts and Cabinets for Security, Charging and Syncing Solutions

SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Schools and institutional technology users are now deploying iPad minis and other smaller tablets as a mobile alternative to full-sized tablets and notebooks, creating a need for effective storage and charging solutions. Datamation Systems is now shipping the first purpose-built carts and cabinets for these compact and portable devices.

“You can use these tools to create the perfect ecosystem for your iPad mini, tablet and other technology deployments”

As part of its extensive suite of iPad and tablet solutions, these new carts and cabinets store and secure up to 16 devices in a cabinet and 32 in a cart – including the mini, Kindle, Nook, Nexus 7, Galaxy Tab and other 7” tablets. They provide both charge and sync-charge versions and they work with virtually all cases and covers.

“Putting these small devices in a full sized cart is a huge waste of space and material, ” said Joe Mazza, Datamation Systems Vice President. “Now you can use something made specifically for this new technology and for how you use it.”

The sync-charge versions of the DS-NETSAFE7 cabinet and DS-MINI7 cart include state-of-the-art USB hubs by Cambrionix, the leader in mobile charging and connectivity technology. The hubs sync through iTunes, Apple Configurator and other USB file management programs. They also act as universal USB chargers and are “future-proof,” having user-updatable firmware.

For those not syncing content frequently, charge-only versions are available at an even lower cost.

“You can use these tools to create the perfect ecosystem for your iPad mini, tablet and other technology deployments,” said Mazza.

Datamation Systems carts and cabinets are used in thousands of schools, libraries, hospitals and offices. They provide Datamation Systems’ industry-leading security protection and are made in the United States.
